Our Story
Why South Florida Lychees Are Different
The Redland agricultural district of Miami-Dade County is one of the only places in the continental US where lychees thrive. The warm subtropical climate, the oolite limestone soil, and the dry winters create ideal conditions that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the country.
Commercial lychee trees here can be 30 to 50 years old — mature trees that produce fruit with a depth of flavor you simply cannot get from a young planting. The season is brutally short. We work with a small network of growers in the Redland and Homestead area who let us harvest at peak ripeness, not a day earlier.
If you grew up eating lychees in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or the Caribbean, this will taste like home. Our long-term mission is to bring you the world’s finest lychees — from Vietnam’s Bac Giang region to premium Chinese orchards. For now, we start where quality is exceptional and the story is real: right here in South Florida.
Shipping Coverage
We ship to all 48 contiguous states via FedEx. Lychees are packed in insulated boxes with cooling gel packs to ensure they arrive perfectly fresh.

The Real Difference
Why Not Grocery Store Lychees?
Most Americans have only ever tasted lychees that were harvested early, spent weeks in transit, and lost most of their flavor by the time they arrived. This is different.
| Grocery Store | My Lychee Grove | |
|---|---|---|
| Harvest timing | Harvested early for long transit | Picked at peak ripeness, shipped same day |
| Time to your door | Weeks in cold storage & transit | Direct from growers to your door |
| Variety | Unknown, unlabeled | Premium named varieties |
| Quality control | Inconsistent, batch-mixed | Hand-selected at harvest |
| Chemicals | Post-harvest preservative treatments | Picked ripe and shipped fresh — no long-transit preservative treatments |
| Origin | Asia or Mexico, imported | South Florida Redland groves |

Why Reserve Early?
Pre-ordering isn't just about price.
Most people have never bought fruit on pre-order. Here's why thousands of lychee lovers do it every season.
Harvest quantities vary every season
Each grove produces only what the season and weather allow. Pre-ordering now secures your share before quantities run out.
Fruit is picked at peak ripeness, shipped same day
We pick your lychees the day your order ships. Unlike grocery store fruit harvested early for transit, yours arrives at its peak — never before.
Orders are fulfilled in reservation order
When your variety ripens, we fulfill orders from first reserved to last. The earlier you reserve, the earlier in the season you receive the freshest fruit.
Some varieties sell out before harvest begins
Sweetheart, Emperor, and rare varieties can be completely claimed weeks before the fruit is ready to pick. Once they're gone, there's nothing until next season.

Questions, answered.
Lychee season is short. Reserving now holds your place in line on our harvest list; we ship the moment your variety is ripe, first come, first served.
As soon as the variety you ordered is ripe on the tree — generally mid-to-late May through June. You'll get tracking the day it leaves the grove.
Because our fruit is shipped fresh, without the preservative coatings used for long-distance transit. A picked lychee stays pink for only about two days, so a little browning in transit is normal — the flesh inside is still sweet and perfect.
We recommend the Family Box for the best balance of value and freshness — shipping costs the same per package regardless of size, so a larger box gives you more fruit per dollar.
Any order we can't ship this season is automatically reserved for next season — you keep your place in line.
Yes — that's the long-term plan. Our mission is to bring you the world's finest lychees, not just Florida's. We're starting here because South Florida is genuinely one of the best lychee-growing regions on earth and the quality story is real. As we build the grower relationships and quality standards to match what we've achieved here, we'll expand — starting with Vietnam's Bac Giang region, then premium Chinese varieties like No Mai Tsz and Guiwei. Join our waitlist and you'll be first to know when new origins become available.
